Gh0stly Gh0sts is the world’s first completely omnichain NFT collection, which was quietly released recently. The collection contains 7,710 NFTs, which were free to mint on any Layer Zero compatible blockchain. Among them are Ethereum, Binance, Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum, Fantom, and Optimism.
But first, let us define Omnichain and Layer Zero.
What are Omnichain and Layer Zero?
LayerZero, an omnichain interoperability standard, was recently released by LayerZero Labs, a Canadian company. Essentially, the protocol allows dApps to easily build across multiple blockchains. At the moment, the protocol is compatible with all Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible projects (EVM). Non-EVM chains, such as Terra, Cosmos, Hub, and others, will be enabled in the future.

How Gh0stly Gh0sts Works?
Gh0stly Gh0sts is an unrestricted CC0 (creative commons zero) NFT compilation. LayerZero is the first NFT collection to be released. The project’s goal is to “clear the way for community-owned, chain-agnostic assets to emerge.”

Each NFT has a reflection of the mint chain in the background. The border, however, will change to reflect the current chain of the NFT. Gh0stly Gh0sts, like a number of other NFT initiatives, have the potential to be integrated into future blockchain games and applications.
On the other hand, the initiative has a significant advantage. Future integration will not be reliant on a single blockchain because it is an omnichain collection. Consider an Ethereum-based NFT project as an example. In the future, it will only be possible to incorporate it into Ethereum-based games/applications, not those based on other blockchains.
The Gh0stly Gh0sts NFT collection has already sold out on all chains and is becoming increasingly popular.
