Hyundai Motor has made an official entry into the NFT market! The company released a short film titled “Metamobility Universe” that introduces its NFT universe. To commemorate the release of this film, Nissan is teaming up with Meta Kongz to launch Hyundai NFT collection. There will only be 30 limited edition collectibles in the collection. And the drop will take place on April 20th, this Wednesday.
“We are extremely excited to introduce ‘Metamobility’ through our own NFTs and start this journey with ‘Meta Kongz’,” said Thomas Schemera, Global CMO of Hyundai Motor.

In essence, Hyundai’s goal is to create its own NFT community and provide its users with the brand’s experience in the metaverse. In fact, the NFT community already has its own Twitter account and Discord server. So make sure to look them up!
Nonetheless, Hyundai unveiled its NFT collaboration with Meta Kongz in the form of a 54-second video.
A Meta Kongz gorilla is seen driving from Earth to the Moon in a classic Hyundai PONY in the film. The classic PONY transforms into a Heritage Series PONY after leaping into the sky so high. This demonstrates how mobility solutions can span time and space. Kongz notices a star-like object stuck on one of the car’s wipers after successfully landing on the moon. The film concluded by teasing the release of a shooting star-shaped NFT in May.
Aside from the exclusive drop in collaboration with Meta Kongz, Hyundai will launch a number of NFT projects this year. Furthermore, the proceeds from the NFT sales will be distributed to the project’s management and community members.
More traditional brands, in general, are eyeing the NFT space, and Hyundai will not be the only one. In any case, Hyundai will provide more information about the NFTs on Hyundai’s NFT Twitter account this week. So keep your eyes peeled!
